I would like to power a 12v electric motor driving a bead roller for metal shaping, under load it draws about two amps from a car battery, but this is not convenient. This motor works very nicely up 36v, I would like to use a power supply from a 240v AC F&P Gentle Annie washer but don't know where to start, or maybe electrode leads of a small Arc Welder or as a last resort a power supply from a computer. A higher voltage gives a faster operating speed.
Metal shaper not an electrician, can anyone point me in a direction.
Thanks Chris
