Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hello everyone. I just wanted to say hello, and let ya all know I will be reading and learning as much as I can. I have been doing that on other places on the web for a couple of years. I have learned quite a bit already on windmills and solar.
Sometime in the not to distant future the wife and I will be moving to where we can use a windmill to accompany our solar if need be. Either way I will be building a windmill of some sort whether we need it or not, I like to tinker.

Hi Airborne
Windmills are fun to build and watch but unless you are blessed with a good windy spot the solar carries most of the load, welcome to the forum.
