Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.
recently i decided to
upgrade to a duel battery bank with my small solar setup,
iv been using a single battery up to now, just a 12volt system.
so i brought two new 80amp hour deep cycle batteries.
my question is when the batteries are wired in pararell mode,
which battery terminals do i use to connect
the volt meter to? battery 1 or battery 2,or what?
cheers

Bobt, this is something easily tested with a volt meter
By parallel you mean you connected the positive terminals of both batteries together.
You also connected both negative terminals to each other with a separate link strap.
Connecting a volt meter at either battery will show the exact same voltage, they are connected together after all.
