I'm having a solar power system install in a couple of months on the house roof, the meters and main board are over in a shed which is about 100 metres from house. When they put the panels on house roof where will the inverter be placed and then will the inverted power go to fuse box in house. They say there is no digging and new cables needed. Can someone explain how this system will be installed please? It is a 1336 watt system 8x167 watt panels with a Fronius IG15 inverter. If I wanted to upgrade the system in the future what size inverter would you suggest for 12 x 167 watt panels would an IG20 be ok? Edited by raedan 2009-03-24
