family Friend has been offered a good deal on a 1 kw system...asked my opinion.....im not sure,,,,,think they are all similar really....all over 25 year warranty etc and all approved by australian standards etc....
He was offered three choices on the panels.

150w solarfun panels x 7 1050w total

or 6 170 watt sharp panels 1020 watts

or 7 150watt conenergy panels 1050w

the installer said it dot matter which he chose as they work out at same price.
He thought the 150 solarfun panels were great and gave an extra 30 watt advantage and they had been on Australian roofs for ten years no problems.
My only thing was 7 panels take up more roof space for 30 watts. of power...
cheers
Any one have any advice or thoughts ?

Assuming you have plenty of roof space is 30 watts extra for nothing is this the equivalent of a 3% discount?

If you can tell what will happen in 10+ years you are better than most.
