How would one go about making my own armature? I want to experiment
with making a BLDC motor, and want to make my own armature. Is there any
way to do with without casting? I was maybe thinking cutting several thinner
armature-shaped pieces out, then stacking them to get the thickness I
need.

Also, what differences would I see between running a dual stator like some
of you are doing with F&P's versus one larger stator that would equal the
size of the 2 combined?

Also, is there a formula or something I can use to figure out number of
windings, wire thickness, etc?
