Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Col,
Welcome to the Forum. Thanks for the comments.

The reality is, I don't know much at all. There are other forum members here that are my role models. But then I guess if I knew everything, it would become boring. I am just Hav'n Fun.

All it's about is, 'think about it, and have a go'.
Anyone can do what I do.

Time...well....

Read up on the forum, you will learn heaps of stuff. Someday Col, you will have made a wind generator and... that you will be proud to show off.

Hey col

playing with entirely unmodified stators can be dangerous, they will make 300+ volts.

Keep fingers well away when taking any measurements!!

more than a few of us have had a bite or two!!
