Hi all,

I want to build a test rig to measure the output of F&P generators at various speeds up to 1000rpm and cogged and de-cogged versions.

Could somone suggest a drive motor for this?
I'm thinking of using a DC motor with pwm controller

Also, what would make a good load for all round testing

I've ordered the opto parts for measuring rpm but I'll need to find a way to measure current as my Fluke is only rated at 10 amps

Cheers, Daryl
