Hello to all,
I read that hooking up multi 12 volt batteries in parallel in not recommended. The reason is I plan to hook up ten plus 12 volt deep cycle batteries in parallel. Please advise. Thanks.
10??? dang that's a lot of power. soz, got carried away. i used to run 4x100ah deepcycle batteries in parallel for lights and refrigeration for 4 years with no dramas or problems. hope this helps, :)So What If This Is As Good As It Gets?

As I understand connecting batteries in parallel has the issue that if the batteries are of unequal voltage there will be current flows.
If a cell fails this may lead to all the other cells being discharged.
