Hello to all,

I read that hooking up multi 12 volt batteries in parallel in not recommended. The reason is I plan to hook up ten plus 12 volt deep cycle batteries in parallel. Please advise. Thanks.

As I understand connecting batteries in parallel has the issue that if the batteries are of unequal voltage there will be current flows.

If a cell fails this may lead to all the other cells being discharged.

Possibly in an uncontrolled manor (bang?).
