Hi Everyone,

I am doing my RE certificate next year at Canberra
Institute of technology. Has anyone done this course ?
What are your opinions on the course ?

interesting, are you talking to become an approved BSCE installer or system designer.

Unfortunately if you're not a sparkie the designer bit is all we can do.

From your words of wisdom and simple maths I think the course would be a waste of your time if its the BSCE designer.

Involves simple stuff.

EG off grid install, work out loads, energy capture systems (solar-wind), appropriate storage size appropriate inverters etc etc.

Its always in the paperwork though if you want to get any coin out of the govt as far as rebates though.

Most of the time, you will need someone at some point and more than likey if you do all their work for them, they will sign off and not cost the earth.
