Thanks so much for your reply on my rego.
Iam working on a vawt type w/mill made from 2 plastic 205 l drums cut in half lenght ways .
It turns in the lightest of breeze .In a strong wind a few weeks back I put f&p magnet drum with the stator inside and placed the o.d of the drum up against the wheel barrow at the bottom of the w/mill shaft and with the standard wiring .I measured 30 volts from 1 phase
i was rapped now learn how 7 phase it and declog the stator thanks again Trev the Master Craftman .shaky

playing with entirely unmodified stators can be dangerous, they will make 300+ volts.
Keep fingers well away when taking any measurements!!
more than a few of us have had a bite or two!!
