A bit off subject ,but. I've got a kenwood sdx 800 5 wire antenna rotator and can't find a control cable drawing ,it's 5 conductore into the plugs. Anyone out ther have one or a manual ,or a link to the "pin-outs" to the connectors.. Have tried Google ,but can't seem to be able to get the 800 series one. Thanks bruce Bushboy |

Bruce I Googled "Kenwood" antenna Rotor and came up with this: http://forums.qrz.com/archive/index.php/t-8848.html This guy lists his email address and phone number (don't know the country) and I thought maybe you could email him with the particulars. His little ad says something about operation manuals and I thought maybe there was an outside chance he might be able to help you out. Hang in there; it'll happen! . . . . . Well, thanks Mac, This is what happened.. yesterday ,after 4 hours bench work , remember, I had last week just completly overhauled this ting ,like new. well, pulled it all apart ,unsoledered the 24v motor and connected it to a bench supply ,no go . Then took the gears off ,what a job, spun the shaft by hand ,ok. connected it up again and whamo, away it spun.. So, it must have been just because it has been sitting for over a year that bound up the little motor.. re-assembled it and it works perfect,but,,,,, now the next problem , a little rubber band that drives the n, s , e, w . location dial has broke .. So now I have to hunt around for a little 30mm rubber "o" ring driver.. Maybe a hobby shop or a bearing supplier will have them .. There are no vcr repairers in this world these days ,so can forget that. Thanks , all is brighter now Bruce.. Bushboy |

Hi Bruce, Just thought of this after you left IRC, just go to a bearing shop and get some O-ring cord and some super glue then make your own... Too Easy..... Cheers Bryan |
