Hi guys, What about this lamp? We will ever see this on market? I saw an old clock with chains (gravitational mechanism)... I don t know how to name it... maybe the principle is the same? I think for a little LED lamp is possible to made something like a gravity clock... Hobbit name: Togo Toadfoot of Frogmorton Elvish name: Mablung Miriel Beyound Arduino Lang |

Almost a great idea. QUOTE: To "turn on" the lamp, the user moves weights from the bottom to the top of the lamp. An hour-glass like mechanism is turned over and the weights are placed in the mass sled near the top of the lamp. END QUOTE You've got to be kidding? Even a school kid can see that it should be built exactly like an hour glass and turned upside down to restart and if too heavy, mounted on a stand that allows it to be rotated. Good idea, half done. was working fine... til the smoke got out. Cheers Gill _Cairns, FNQ |
