Hi Everyone.

Just wishing you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Will all the global strife going on, its good to remember family and friends this time of year, and spend a little time reflecting on whats good in the world.

Me, had a rubbish year, few health issues ( nothing serious, just annoying, old age stuff ). Work is busy, especially this time of year as my clients try to get jobs out the door before the end of year. So I'm looking forward to having a couple weeks off as most of my clients shut down for a bit over the break.

Thanks to Grogster for his help with the forum, and for the paypal contributions from members, they have helped with the sites hosting and bought a few gadgets of ebay.

So take care, stay safe.

Regards
Glenn

Happy to help, and I also wish the members a happy Christmas.
I know I am looking forward to just being able to sloth around for a while.

As most of you know, I run my own business, and while that brings remarkable freedom of choice in the work you do, there is A-LOT of paperwork and other crap that you have to do, cos there is no "Accounts Department" - that's me also!

Outland Revenue....

When you work for yourself, there is no such thing as holiday time - you are pretty much on duty every day.  There is no such thing as a few weeks off like you get with most jobs where you work for wages.

So, the ONLY holiday I allow myself, is the Christmas break, and that is only cos - generally speaking - everyone else is away on their holidays, so things calm down and there is no need to fix things, cos people aren't breaking them!

But Merry Christmas to all, and I look forward to many an interesting thread come 2026.

Wishing Everyone a Merry Christmas and peaceful New Year.
Special thanks to Gizmo and Grogster for all their hard work in TBS.  Thanks Grogster, and others, for providing me with hours of fun down the Linux track.
With the inevitable slowing down the daily dose of TBS is a real tonic in the face of world news events.
Cheers.  Prof.
