Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Added a new page about variable power supplies. Nothing special, just a couple of handy circuits. One circuit is based on the LM317 regulator, and the other is based on Pete's LM723 circuit with adjustable current limiting.

Variable power supplies are very handy to have when setting up charge controllers like the TL084 based controller. When I get time I'll do up a vero-board version of both circuits.

Thanks Glenn

I have been looking at my old one that the smoke got out of and I think this is better than rebuilding a vintage machine.

All the best
