I've tried to keep this forum a friendly place. There is so much negativity in the world at the moment, I'm over it, and I dont want it here. Other forums I'm a member of have a very low tollerance of anything even slightly off topic or confrontational. Posts and members get deleted very quickly. I'm trying to avoid that here, and I'm hoping self regulation will work. But lately I've had to delete a lot of off topic posts, or posts that are going to offend other members. I want this to be a place about building stuff in the back shed. Electronics, windmills, solar, microcontrollers, stuff like that, be it a hobby or a need. I want it to be free of all the negative crap that goes on in the world. If I need to say "this is ok to discuss, this isn't", then there is no point to this forum being here. The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago, the second best time is right now. JAQ |
