Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Faster than the diesel variety.

Big boy's toys!

Edit:
On further reading, this is not recent news.
As far as I can tell, it was made in Austria and has had a few reliability problems.
Still good to see some progress.

Queensland and Victoria have also had some on trial for the last year or two.
Appear to be good for metropolitan services but "range anxiety" is delaying rural use. A few fast charging genset trucks in the fleet may overcome that.

The Queensland Volvo has a claimed range of 300km.
