Hi and thank you TassyJim everything is working okay. I still cannot get
settick 10000,doread to work on the E28. Any sugestions

Try this program on your device:
  Quote   SETTICK 10000, doread

DO
' do other stuff here
LOOP

END

SUB doread
PRINT TIME$
END SUB

It should print the time every 10 seconds
