Hi, I recently built the solar mppt charge controller by silicon chip. I am testing it with a 20 watt panel and my 90ah geltec battery. I would like to get an 120 watt panel to make full use of it. I have seen a few on eBay but I wouldn't know if they were any good or not. The controller works quite well although the set voltages need adjusting for a gel battery. I am also thinking of programming a new chip with the correct settings. Any panel recommendations?

Welcome to the forums.

Personally, I would keep my distance from the eBay panels, as they are more likely then not, Chinese fake ones not capable of anything like the output they claim to be able to do.

Just my 2c.
