Hi Guys,

My CGMMStick2 worked fine for a number of years.

But now it has dropped out the program and just boots up with the cursor

I took the micro SD card out and the program is still there but I can't find it in 'EDIT'

MMEdit on an XP won't connect

Any command in EDIT is met with, "error: expecting a string"

Any help will be appreciated. I can't update as I haven't a clue on how to do that

Ronee,

Some questions to help us help you.

Can you connect to the CGMStick with TerraTerm?

If so, do you see the power up message and then get a > prompt?

From the command prompt above, if you enter PRINT "Hello world" does this work?

If you enter LIST from the command prompt, does it show anything?

If you enter EDIT from the command prompt, do you get the EDIT window with the F key info on the bottom line?

If you enter the EDIT mode and input PRINT "Hello World" then press F1 to save and exit the EDIT mode, can you then enter LIST and does it show the single line just entered?

If yes, then enter RUN. Does the display now show Hullo World on a new line then back to the command prompt >?

Yes, Terra Term works (and connects)

I am running Maximite Basic 3.1

Now by supper time last evening I had found "files"

Which shows the three files that are on the B drive (micro SD)

List does not work

But when I type, "RUN PWMs2.bas" it puts up an error message

Putting the file in quotation marks was the answer I was looking for!

Thanks, so simple but after a day of searching the internet I never found that info?
