I used this board for a project some years ago and I would like to find another at a reasonable price. Does anyone know where I can source one? ![]() The board is a USB 24 port I/O version 2. I have scanned ebay with all sorts of searches to no avail. I have seen a couple of European sites suggesting they can supply them at enormous pricing. (>65 pounds before freight) IIRC I sourced the original unit in AUS. Thanks OA47 |

These units were made in Australia over a decade ago. As far as I can tell the company is no longer around. They were made by Ravar Pty Ltd in Southport Queensland and was called a "USBIO24". I think that the new company elexol now makes the current version of this product called a "USBIO24 R". Either way google is your friend using "USBIO24" for this module. Not sure what you paid or expect to pay these days. They are at the $100+ price mark. If you are tied to that PC software they had then getting the new board is probably your quickest and easiest solution. Depending on what you are trying to control there are many ways to do that these days. You can easily interface from PC/MAC/Linux USB to a serial port converter (or via a WiFi module) to send data to a MicroMite which can then do all sorts of wonderful things for you. |

Thanks Azure for the info. The main reason I wish to obtain others is that I didn't want to rewrite the software and I need to cascade to the current units to provide additional outputs. I am not sure if the USBIO24 R units are compatible with the current version 2 units as they don't appear to have the cascade connection. OA47 |

In my quick search Futurlec (an Australian supplier for elexol) shows the Ravar USBIO24II as in stock, might be the old product code not updated but might be worth contacting them. |

Well, my quick look in the 'obvious places' didn't turn it up. When I get a chance in the next day or so, I'll dig a bit deeper. If I can find it, I'll send it your way. Micromites and Maximites! - Beginning Maximite |
