Have a look at this: WARNING! - Contains offensive language and current topical events. How binary works There is so much of this going on these days, that this video actually makes a lot of sense - unfortunately. Now, back to the Micromites - which really DO only work on zeros and one's. Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops! |

Ok Grog, Lol, I can see the inequality there. Maybe it is time for a change.... Just racking my brains to try and recall if there's a more equal representation in Gray Code? But it seems imbalanced at times as well. Closest thing I can see to total equality is 5-bit balanced Gray Code, so maybe the world should settle on that. Personally Unidecimal would suit me a lot of time, especially on weekends... Single bit binary, do I want another Beer or not. |

It's been a quarter century since I fooled around with Gray Code. It's used by the Central Air Data Computer to encode the altitude and airspeed information routed to an aircraft's ATC transponder because of its inherent error correcting abilities. Paul in NY |

As in real life you can add a lot of zero's if needed, and they can even be in the front. Microblocks. Build with logic. |

Brilliant, true reflection of 'balance' for the damn sake of it means jack sh*t in reality. Ralph |

There are 10 kinds of people in the world. Those that understand binary and those that don't. There are 10 kinds of people in the world. Those that understand binary and those that don't. |

If the analogy is carried forward, there appear to be only ones among the frequent contributors to this forum, no zeros. Of course, there's always this: ![]() Woof PicoMite, Armmite F4, SensorKits, MMBasic Hardware, Games, etc. on fruitoftheshed |

This guy is absouletly fantastic. WARNING! Contains offensive language and current topical events. Have a look at this one - based on an opera The guy is amazing how he can work the words around what is a classic opera. Amazing. Totally true too. If anyone is unsure who Steve Shives is, just google or search for him on YouTube - you will get the idea without my needing to say it here. Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops! |
