Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

@ Gizmo
I must be getting old to have a whinge about this but I use two computers to LogIn to TBS, one in my workshop and the other in the house. When I LogIn on one it logs me out on the other. Is there a way to stay logged in on both.
Life's tough isn't it.

Paul,

That is a very standard feature on almost all forum software.

It would allow the potential problem of 2 people posting on 2 separate machines (at the same time) as the same user, this could cause problems as the user is meant to be a fairly atomic entity as far as the forum code is concerned.

Hi Paul

Yeah Azure is spot on. And yeah, I know how annoying it can be, I've been caught out a few times. Sorry, no way to change it.

I am not sure what forums you visit logging in from different machines on the same forum that allow you to stay logged in on both. I am familiar with a lot of forums and the software platforms they run on and in my experience (and knowledge of the software) they do not allow you to have multiple simultaneous logins fro the same user account.
