Hi all, I'm needing a hardware watchdog for the otherwise excellent picromite. First requirement is to launch mmbasic at boottime. Google reveals several different methods, I've got none to work.
If someone has a reliable solution, I would be very grateful...

Way back in 2013, we produced a 555-based external watchdog unit. Have a look at this thread where it is developed with other members during the length of the thread.

For the Pi, you would need to use the 7555 rather then the standard 555, as the Pi is strictly 3v3 logic.
Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops!
