Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

I have released an updated version of the Micromite firmware (V5.04.09) which can be downloaded from http://geoffg.net/micromite.html (scroll to the bottom of the page).

This release is for the Micromite, Micromite Plus and Windows (DOS) and is essentially the same as the last beta version (beta 19) with a couple of trivial changes. If you have not been following the beta versions V5.04.09 fixes a number of bugs and introduces some new features including double precision floating point for the Micromite Plus and the STATIC command for creating static variables in subroutines and functions. The performance of the interpreter has also been improved and it will run up to 20% faster for some programs (new in this final release).

There are a number of features and bugs that have been reported in the Micromite V5.04.09 Beta 19 thread which I have not had the time to fit into this release. So, expect to see a V5.04.10 beta version out soon in which I will tackle the items left out.

The source on http://mmbasic.com has been updated to the new version.

Finally, thanks to everyone who has tried the beta versions and especially those who found bugs and came up with improvements. This release is much better for your efforts. Thanks.
