Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.
But is there any supplier other than White Wizzard that can provide full set of assembled Micromite TFT Backpack? As we all know, WW currently got some personal matter, and I really need the full set as soon as possible.
Thank you for any suggestion!!

Hi miyek.ard,
There are three MM Plus 64 pin backpacks that I am aware of:-
1. A board designed by Peter Mather that has connectors for both an ILI 2.4" or 2.8" display and a SSD1963 4.5", 5" or 7" TFT display. I am not aware of anyone other than WW selling a populated version of this board but you can get bare boards from WW and Circuit Gizmos. Gerbers of this board are available if you wish to get your own boards manufactured.
2. The CGMicroboard 2 from Circuit Gizmos - it has a connector for an ILI 2.4" or 2.8" TFT display. Available fully populated only as far as I am aware.
3. Silicon Chip Explore 64 Backpack with a connector for an ILI 2.4" or 2.8" TFT display. Available as a kit from Silicon Chip.
Alternatives to the 64 pin MM Plus kits might be the Silicon Chip Explore 100 Backpack that has a connector for an SSD1963 4.5", 5" or 7" TFT display. It is available from Grogster with the SMD parts including the PIC32MX chip already soldered.
Hope this helps.
panky ... almost all of the Maximites, the MicromMites, the MM Extremes, the ArmMites, the PicoMite and loving it!

I have been asked why I DON'T sell the Backpack 2 or the MM+ Backpack. The main reason is that there are three people out there now who currently do, so I did not see the point.Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops!
