Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

There is a website called 37sensors.com that uses CircuitGizmos Micromite boards to interface to various sensor boards.

I'm sponsoring a kit of 37 sensors and a CGMICROKIT for a giveaway for August on that site. Sign up there!

The page has specs for all of the sensors that you get in a 37 sensor kit (plus a few) that you can buy from Amazon and eBay (and from CircuitGizmos!). Those kits rarely include any specs or examples. 37sensors.com is gathering more information.

Congratulations, and a great linkup between the micromite and these sensor kits.

On this page -- http://www.37sensors.com/cgmicrokit1-test-setup/ -- it says "The CGMICROKIT1 has a microcontroller that connects to a PC via a USB/serial interface and runs an easy-to-understand yet powerful interpreted language."

I understand that you may not have editorial control over this site, but it might be well for it to be a little more expansive about the nature of the "microcontroller" and the "interpreted language" and the source of their existence.

Very good point!

The hardware came from me. I have a few more items to send to 37sensors.

This is an effort to demystify and document all of the modules that hobbyists buy online and then wonder how to use. Documentation on these is pretty scattered. Edited by CircuitGizmos 2018-08-03

Also CG, it might have been polite of them to acknowledge the creators of MMEdit and GFXTerm, Jim Hilley and Robert Rozee that they reference.

Doug.

... almost all of the Maximites, the MicromMites, the MM Extremes, the ArmMites, the PicoMite and loving it!

CG. Nice job with the new landing site. Are you going to produce the Sensor.Engine: MICRO board soon? Looks like a nice addition to the MMBasic driven lineup.
I have been kicking around an electronics camp for kids in our town and was looking for a simple experimentation kit which requires no PC.

I'll be making the sensor engine for 37sensors. The site has a prototype.

Yes, the sensor engine is an idea aimed at STEM.
