Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi all.
I am trying to upload the newest version of the Micromite firmware to an old Micromite via the Backpack V2.
I keep getting the following message;

Can anyone offer a suggestion as to what has gone wrong?

TIA

Have you pressed the MODE button before trying to upgrade the firmware?

In normal mode, the 1455 on the backpack will operate as a serial connection.
You have to put it into programming mode, by pressing the MODE button once - the LED just above the USB socket will light and stay on to indicate it is ready to accept a new program.

If you DON'T put the 1455 into programming mode, you will most definitely get that error. Edited by Grogster 2018-08-10

AWESOME Grogs
Thank you.
That's mentioned in the SC article on the Microbridge but the specifics are not in the Backpack article.
Something new I've learnt today.
Cheers

You are welcome.
I kinda thought that MIGHT be the case......

If you never really do firmware updates, you could be forgiven for totally forgetting about that MODE button.
