Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi
My Micromite backpack setup has just started to not recognise some basic options.
When I try to download a program I know works, that starts with
OPTION AUTORUN ON. It comes back with
Error: invalid option
if I remove this line, the same error is returned for OPTION EXPLICIT and OPTION DEFAULT INTEGER.
If I remove all of these the program will run but not autorun etc.
What is happening?

Good question.

I can only recommend re flashing the firmware as something seems to have seriously gone wrong.

Agreed. That is very strange. So to be sure you are working from a non-corrupted MMBASIC, I would also reflash. If it still does it after that, all I could say then was perhaps a damaged chip, so you'd need to mark that one as suspect(or bin it), and switch to another chip.
