OK, I will order some boards. The 1A version of this from page one, worked OK, but the extra pads will make the thing more flexible. I also tried hooking the arrangement up to a wireless charger and receiver thing(as discussed in another thread), and with the shielding thing over the charging coil, it was charging quite happily at around 500mA. Left it there for a few hours, and the LED on the charger indicated fully charged, so you will also be able to couple these up to wireless chargers. ![]() Smoke makes things work. OK, I have ordered some boards. I have also ordered another couple of batteries to try out. These ones are the same size, but 9mm thick instead of 6mm. LINK US$9.50 each, 1400mAh vs 900mAh for the other ones I was playing with. As they are the same length x width as the 900mAh ones, apart from being slightly fatter, they will also be a perfect match to the PCB. Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops! |
