Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi again

I have been playing with MMBasic on the UBW32 with VGA and a PS/2 since yesterday. So far, it seems absolutely amazing to work in the editor. It is fast and efficient, and I never miss the mouse. It is actually very nice not having the option of pointing to a place, and then start typing.

Some time ago I ordered several Pyboards, but I haven't really spent any time with them yet. I can't help but feel that MMBasic sort of beat Micropython to the punch, but that MMBasic is very niche.

Anybody with any comparison knowledge between the two?

Goodnight!

I really don't get the whole micropython thing. It's like they're trying to create a version of BASIC without the 'B' word.

I think Python generally somehow is the second easiest beginners language, so all in all it looks quite similiar to BASIC.

Not criticizing, just remarking!
