I am trying to update an E100 Version 1D board using MMFlash. I keep getting the same error, not sure what I am doing wrong. The board has a pic16f1454.

Programming slave device
-d ascii:COM3 "D:\Downloads\Micromite_Firmware\Micromite_Plus_V5.05.02.hex"
Programmer for Microchip PIC32 microcontrollers, Version 2.0.220

Hi Greg,

Have you put the pic16 into PROGRAM mode? (Momentarily short the 2 pin header and the led should light)

Cheers Mick,

That's done it, the E100 has a button marked select just for this!
