Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

This one is very weird.
Normally, you get the +SMS FULL error message, when the SIM card memory is full, and it cannot accept any new messages, so has nowhere to buffer them, so cannot show them to you.
Getting around that is easy - just delete all messages from the SIM card after every send or receive, to keep the SIM card memory empty.
What is happening NOW, is that I am getting the +SMS FULL message - but the SIM card memory IS totally empty - zero out of twenty slots in use, so most definitely NOT full, so one message contradicts the other, and now I am lost.
Has anyone else ever seen this odd one?
Here is a screenshot:
When I send a command text message to the unit, it responds with +SMS FULL on the console.
So, I ask it to tell me how many slots are available in the SIM memory for send/receive/new, and it tells me that there are 20 slots available, and none of them are used.
WTF?
SMS FULL, but SIM card empty, so SMS NOT FULL, but still getting the error..... Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops!

Yep, tried that MANY times, but as soon as you put the power back on, it comes up with that message before you even send it anything!
I will try another SIM card. Something could be wrong there.Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops!
