Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi All,

Thanks for the info.

I think what I will try and do, is have an MM controlling two screens Back to Back, so the cable would be short. Would it still work on the 7 inch screens? Could I use the SDcard slot on the screens to load images?

The idea is they will be able to be viewed from 2 directions, and display the same image/info. They would be placed out of reach of most people, so touch would not be required. ( They are Checkout lights in the supermarket )

Maybe another MM could act as the master on a 1 wire system( short string commands sent ), and the the display screens could be the slave. This MM may master two slave MM. One for each checkout.

Command 1 would display a set feature, and further command's would set or display other features. This would be placed near the operator, and would use the touch interface.

Thanks again for all the comments.

Regards

I suspect you and Grogster are on the same page with back to back displays.
