I haven't seen anything that suggests this is possible, could it be? Run this program if it exists or boot as normal if not.

From the manual:

OPTIONAUTORUNOFF|ON

Instruct MMBasic to automatically run the program stored in program memory when it starts up or is restarted by the WATCHDOG command. This is turned off by the NEW command but other commands that might change program memory (EDIT, etc) do not change this setting.
Entering the break key (default CTRL-C) at the console will interrupt the running program and return to the command prompt.
This signature intentionally left blank.
