Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi,

I've noticed my CMM2 losing quite a bit of time lately when sitting at idle.

TIME$ gets updated from a GPS timestamp when my test program is up & running so not a problem until I stop for a bit. It relies on a reasonably accurate time to start properly. It was OK a week or so ago.

I did an OPTION LIST & found OPTION RTC DRIVE LOW which I can't get rid of or change. I wanted to change it to see what happens to the timing.

OPTION RTC CALIBRATE didn't improve matters much (running matherp's time test from a while ago)

Can't find any reference to it in the Manual.

Brian.

Your options have somehow got corrupted. Use OPTION RESET and then redo your normal settings
