I'm after some older versions of Picromite I'm trying to find a version that BLIT and longstring works I'm looking for 2018-11-16_222927_mmbasicSTRETCH.zip 2018-09-27_222719_mmbasicSTRETCH.zip 2nd version with fixes or any versions after 5.4.20 where both Blit and Longstring works I'm using Stretch and have no interest in updating it to Buster or anything I "think" these are the only versions between 5.4.20 where Longstring was added and 5.05.01 where I know Blit does not work The versions listed on the forum are not available to dowload anymore |

I was thinking of using one of my PIs but never did. I found these them all over the forum hope they help. I ziped what I had up. those 2 are in there. RASPI.zip They call me Shai-Hulud (The maker) |

Thanks to both Lizby and mclout999 for their help with the older versions but unfortunately it didn't work. Peter if you'r watching this is there any easy way for me to modify version 5/4/16 to make longstring work? 5.4.16 both blit and longstring works but 5.4.21 upwords longstring works but blit doesn't I've tried every version I can find from 5.4.21 upwards |

There is no change in the code for longstring or blit between these versions. This highlights the whole issue with the Picromite. It seems impossible to build a reliable version for any given combination of Raspbian and Pi type. Old version can't be modified as I don't have copies of older source - sorry. |

Thanks Peter You were right obviously longstring does work but the versions after 5.4.20 the amount of data longstring can handle was increased Blit for some reason doesn't work after 4.4.16 but I'll just use the earlier version not to worry I'll try and reduce the amount of data needed |
