Because in the past I played with ASCII conversion on C64 (better said PETSCII), I made small adaptation for CMM2: Texter.zip (Because it needs TUI.INC and GRF.INC for dithering and BMP saving, I packed it together...) App is very simple, just let user select source image, convert it to grayscale (simple dithering), save it, then convert it to ASCII mode 0 (whole char luma), again save it, after press of the key ASCII mode 1 (quarter of char) and save final image. In line 169 is possible to change font for rendering (also user selected, just need to be loaded right after this line).
