Here's one for MMBasic + E-100: The Trumpf Trulaser that Oshcut are showing? One of my clients has the same machine. 20 metres away, there are two, 3-axis CNC tube benders that I retrofitted with E-100 based controllers and they just run and run; 0.05mm repeatability on linear axes and 0.05deg on rotary axes. Client can't believe that he has no flaky behaviour and has never had to cycle the power due to a lock-up. The Trumpf gets a reboot daily, due to some flakiness and it's only 3 years old. The control is a Siemens with a Windoze front end. |

Well I don't know about where you live but shops with pressbrakes and laser cutters are everywhere and struggling to keep their equipment busy. Everywhere is dirt cheap right now. For what they are charging, I can't believe that they even spend time looking at the CAD file. |
