Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

See zip file below for two Battleship games.
Battleship.bas allows for horizontal and vertical placement of
five naval ships of length 2, 3, 3, 4, and 5.  The grid size
is 10x10 and one plays against the computer.  The user can
select between two versions.  One version allows one guess per
round.  The other is the Salvo version where one receives one
guess per round for each ship they have that has not yet been
sunk.  Control is via the keyboard.
Battleship+.bas allows for diagonal, horizontal, and vertical
placement of either 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, or 30 ships of lengths
2, 3, 3, 4, and 5.  The user chooses the grid size which can
be 10x10, 15x15, 20x20, or 25x25.  One plays against the computer.
Like Battleship.bas, the user can select between the regular
version with one shot per round or the Salvo version.

Battleship.zip

Sorry, use the zip file below which includes the DIRECTORY named Battleship.

If anyone would like to make modifications to these programs or any of my other
programs and upload again, I would be happy to see the modifications.  Some ideas
are a title screen, instructions, sound effects, music, and an option to see both grids
on one screen.
