Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

It's only an itty-bit of an edit to make it 15, Martin. ;)

Very nicely done!

I would just like to add my thanks and praise to Geoff and Peter for MMBasic (and the Maximites). It has provided me with a great deal of joy, and is a creative outlet that fits in with my limited skill set. (I'm no good at art or creating music, but I can weave programs). Thank you.

I'm very grateful for MMBasic as well. As a matter of interest, how does MMBasic compare to Great Cow Basic used in other micro families?

@BarryH

They don't compare really. GCBasic is a compiler, MMBasic is an interpreter.
They are similar in that they both support a large number of BASIC commands but that's about all. The commands vary and, usually, the MMBasic commands are much more powerful.

I've found that program development is much faster in MMBasic, especially when using the internal editor.
