Hi All, I am pleased to announce that my new board, MuP-F4-Eastrising (F4-ER) is now available. The F4-ER is 121mm x 94mm in size and is designed to plug onto the back of a 9" Eastrising TFT panel. The F4-ER has the following features: Support for Eastrising TFT with resistive touchscreen 9", 7" & 5" (5" and 7" not yet tested) Support for HC-12 Wireless Serial Transceiver module Support for ESP8266-Mini WiFi communications module Support for BMP-180 Barometric pressure and temperature module Support for DHT-22 (and DHT-11) Temperature and Humidity module Support for a GPS module Support for DS18B20 Temperature sensor All F4 GPIO brought out the duplicate headers for external access to all pins Decent `Sea of Holes' Prototyping area (20 x 17 holes on 0.1" spacing) The modules are mounted on the UNDERSIDE of the board to minimise the thickness of the `stack' of boards. Using standard size headers the `stack' is approx 25mm from the back of the TFT panel to the top of the F4-ER, thus enabling the assembly to be mounted inside a much thinner case than if the modules were mounted on the top. Views of the F4-ER, NOTE the new board is a beautiful AZURE blue but it was difficult to get a good photo with the real modules so I used my DEXPCB 3D image instead. ![]() Andrew_G has written a demo program to test each of the modules and sensors which really shows what can be done with the F4 and F4-ER board. All files including both Manuals for the F4-ER and Andrew's Test code may be found >>> HERE <<< The manual for the F4-ER is attached here: ER-F4 Manual.pdf I have boards available for $9AU ea plus postage. Typically, due to their weight (~37gm ea) postage in AUS post will be $1AU-$3AU depending on QTY of boards and Overseas $3.50AU (single) to $8.50AU (3 boards) postage for more than 3 on request. Except in Australia, I can only accept PayPal for payment. It is a pity that postage charges are so expensive, indeed the freight cost to me was roughly 2/3 of the total cost. Special thanks to the following people for their work on MMBasic and the F4 in general. Geoff Graham, for creating MMBasic in the first place Peter Mather, for porting MMBasic to the F4 Gerry Allardice, for creating and maintaining the manual for the F4 Andrew Garrett, for introducing me to the F4 and his constant advice and suggestions for the F4-ER Kind Regards, Mick Mick's uMite Stuff can be found >>> HERE (Kindly hosted by Dontronics) <<< |
