Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Here is my setup:

OS: 05.07.01b4

VGA mode 800x600
Display 50,100
OPTION DS3231 ON    <-----------This might be the problem
OPTION CONSOLE SCREEN
OPTION USBKEYBOARD US
OPTION OVERCLOCK ON
OPTION MOUSE 0,0
OPTION MAXCTRLS 60

I also did OPTION FLASH but that doesn't appear in the OPTION LIST

If I turn off the DS3231 hi-res timer, everything appears to be OK. If it's on,
the system goes through its initial keyboard, time and date questions every time I turn on the system.

NOTE: I just tried the same thing on another Gen 2 I have with the same result. This seems to rule out a hardware problem.

I can't replicate
Do your boards have the DS3231 chip fitted? Suggest you start with OPTION RESET and then then add options to find the issue. OPTION OVERCLOCK is not guaranteed and at your own risk.

You should also try on the release version of 5.07.00

I do have the chip in both units. An OPTION RESET seems to have done the trick as long as OPTION DS3231 ON is the LAST one to be set.

Thanks for responding!
