Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Be careful how you read their spec though, especially the 8 analogue input pins. :)

The more on-board peripherals you have the less pins you have to play with too. On-board microphone? Why??

Anyone having some very exact scales being able to tell the Picos weight?

Header weighed because my Pico has them fitted.

Thanks Tinine!

My kitchen scales only weighing full g show 5g for the pinned Pico and 2g for the bare board. But I am surprised how close this is to your result.
The pins do have a big ratio.

Now that's a little powerhouse. Pins would certainly appear to be compatible with picomite MMBasic.

If the QtPy 2040 works, then this should too. At least they've put a reset button on it. On the original Xiao, it was two pads you had to short and it was no fun.

The SparkFun Pro Micro - RP2040 might be more of a problem, though it's one of the cheaper 3rd party boards and it works well for my MicroPython projects.

Toronto. Elmwood Electronics.

And to Mixtel90's comment about the microphone: of course it has one. It's an IoT - aka unwitting surveillance - device.

By the way, there is a cool add-on for the Pico:

Captain Resetti

But not available in my area yet.

I soldered a 6x3 SMD button across pins 28 & 30 on top of a PicoMite. The gap between the pads is sufficiently wide to not contact pin 29. :)

nuke the memory before loading MMBasic

That did the trick - thanks!

karlelch said  My two cents: I tried to load the firmware (5.07.00b30) onto the Arduino Nano rp2040 Connect and while MMBasic started and was responsive, the `Memory` command fails and causes a reboot, suggesting that the firmware does not correctly recognize the memory configuration (ie. the additional 16MB of external flash memory?)

I have one also, keen to try it.

Any hint if or how the Wifi could be used? (just bought it, not even looked at the specs, sorry :)

Best,
Carsten
