Good on you Jim! I am so glad to hear that your GOOD health is stopping you working on MMEdit 24x7. I'm happy with my workaround. (I was worried that my brain-fog had returned). Cheers, Andrew |

MMEdit has had an update. In the editor, you now have a configurable column marker. This helps you keep lines of code within the limits of the 'mite editor. There is also a command to word-wrap comments. This allows you to write long comments then wrap them before sending to the 'mite (TBS etc) In the Command Centre, We now have auto-reconnect. This is handy when you have to do a rest to get an IP etc. No longer any need to do a disconnect-reconnect yourself. MMCC now does word-wrap. This splits lines at the current display width, not at the nearest space character. When you copy the text either by mouse selection or edit menu, the long lines are rejoined. I don't know what the maximum line size is. The longest I have tried is about 7500 characters. This is handy/essential when playing with json data. If you don't use word-wrap, lines are up to 255 characters but only display the console width. The extra characters are captured when doing a copy operation. Entering the file manager sets the 'mite clock to match the PC time. This prevents all your files have a date timestamp of 1-1-2000. I will probably make that an option or only change the date if it is obviously wrong. I still haven't given the RPi version any love but I will try and update it soon. Jim VK7JH MMedit |

I forgot to mention that this feature is for Windows only. I will investigate Linux later. Jim VK7JH MMedit |

Hi Jim, Don't waste this good weather but: - wrap works a treat - thanks! - my <TAB> key isn't doing anything - is it me or a new 'feature'? (I can tap the space bar a few times until you get a chance to look at it). Cheers, Andrew |

That what comes from using the latest beta of PureBasic to compile with. I will roll back to an earlier version and post the update later today. Jim VK7JH MMedit |

Don't stress Jim. I'm playing with two Picos talking to each other so I've got more than enough fun for a while. Andrew |

It's not just tab spaces, it also killed off auto-completion and a few other important things. I will raise the issue with PureBasic and roll back a beta in the mean time.. Jim VK7JH MMedit |

I have just uploaded the Windows files again. This time, TAB should work again. Linux didn't seem to be inflicted with the disappearing tab key so I haven't updated. Website updated at 0200UTC 5 Mar Jim VK7JH MMedit |

Yes, that's what the file manager is for. Jim VK7JH MMedit |

Thanks! I have opened the filemanager many times in the past, but i never fully understood how it works. When you said it is possible, I had to test again. And it works very nicely! Regret that i didn't ask earlier. /Pluto |
