I've run Windows in VMs (not actually Stealth VM) on a linux box so it's definitely possible. I'm not sure that you'd end up with a machine that would run *all* the Windows programs on your hard disk though as not all are polite enough to use their IO properly, and VMs generally need valid system calls (or at least they used to).
