Dose anyone know how to update the firmware on the maximite range of computers on windows 11

Your question is really too vague to be answered.
Everything you need to update the CMM2 is described in the manual Appendix G and it works on W11 same as W7, W10.

The original Maximites can be more difficult depending on how old the firmware is and whether it includes the bootloader but I think everything is covered in the documentation on Geoff's site https://geoffg.net/
