Beta 1 of My 36 Cent Picomite VGA case:
there is some refinements to make in a second beta the lis is a Friction/ snap fit so there is no hardware, the lis wraps around side posts to hold down PCB when I get a final version I'll post up a .STL File :)

(By the way, I've ordered the little 3D printer you linked to earlier; did you use it to print this case?)

Looks good. The back opening for the MicroSD card is a bit large - the Adafruit module is wider than a MicroSD card.

Also you�ll need to decide where to put the 3.5 mm stereo audio jack. I soldered the jack to a small piece of perf board and placed it in the back right corner next to the MicroSD card.

Thanks Al That is just a Beta, I've Grown to HATE the Design Language of the Square candy box but this Beta version accomplishes 2 great things, it gives me a place for my PM VGA to land for now and gives me more accurate dimensional Data for for the 6 iterations too come. The SD Card opening is just a Place holder until I get my SD Card reader to get here to measure. I do plan to place a 3.5 jack to the left of the SD Card and a Cmoy amp in the case with 2 (l&R) headphone Drivers I have some left over Grado Labs drivers I want to put in the case. I'm looking for a common Design Language I can live with as my Goals Change. I know I am a Newbie and have no right to express this but I'm finding myself looking for a PBC Cad/Auto-router to learn, because my Hardware Design Desires has deviated from the established more knowledgeable members of the community. I'm going to have to design Language that is Honest to the Community hardware designs as well as any goals I have outside of the community fork!

I don't think most here use the auto-router feature. I've used EagleCAD for years, but really wouldn't recommend it both because the current version requires (I think) a subscription (so I'll never upgrade, and hope I won't find I need to) and because it remains non-Windows-friendly (though it's much better than it once was).

For any new designs where I won't be trying to modify what I've done before, I'll try EasyEDA--you can use it only from a browser anywhere--switch from Windows to Linux to Chromebook--and there is a good selection of parts. There are secrets to be learned, of course, but I don't think the learning curve for a beginner would be anything like what it was for me with Eaglecad.

Autorouters generally give you a good start if used several times during the PCB design. However, they will very rarely give a really good layout without a lot of help. You almost always have to manually route part of the board unless it's something very simplistic.

KiCAD is an excellent (and free) PCB design package, but has a pretty steep learning curve and is a bit of a pig when you want to add new components. If you can get over that it has a lot to offer as it's commercial quality stuff with any size/shape of board and multiple layers.

There's a Mac Version too :) downloading it now :), but it's taking so long like a whole minuet and 1/2 Slow Euro internet :)
