Does anyone here have any spare 100-pin 470 chips as used in the Explore 100 board? PIC32MX470F512L-I/PT Would even consider buying back E100 boards I have sold to members, who may no longer want them or use them. I note that Microchip will have 28,000+ 64-pin versions available from October this year, but the 100-pin flavour is still a full year of waiting, and I have the need for a couple if I can just find a few somewhere.... Do any of the members happen to have a two or three chips they could sell me? Would not be surprised if not. Many chips are rare as hens teeth these daze.... But there is no harm in asking. Thanks guys, I'll take up Lightrock on his offer, as these are unused chips. Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops! |

Hi Grogs, In my stupor I remember offering you some chips I have lying around, it had simply slipped my mind as I went away for a couple weeks (don’t get old). Sorry about that, you should have prompted me. In my defence I have been working on a new board set in conjunction with AndrewG and am up to Ver. 3 before it is even released. (Been having some fun for sure), and attempting to cut fascia panels on my CNC. I will have to dig up my past emails, was the chip you wanted in that list? I will have to reneg on the SSOP ‘170 as an old customer contacted me and I sold him some of my PicoMites (the original PicoMite from circa 2016 that uses the above chip, not this new Pico Pi based whipper snapper called the same name) I will email you once I find the email later this morning. It's a real bummer to see the lead times on parts at places like Mouser and Digikey. |
